Pat...
I had finally decided to see Donate. I really didn't want to see him, but I knew since I was keeping the baby, I would have to see him eventually.
He tried to score some cool points be having us meet at Red Lobster. He even ordered my favorite, shrimp scampi. That shit did not impress me, neither did the little a river cried. The ‘I love you so much’ speech didn’t matter, our relationship was over. The only thing we had in common was this baby and my bills.
I found a place two days after meeting with him, making sure he didn't have time to back out. He kept his word and got me the condo that I wanted. I was only about five miles down the road from Betty-Ma. Our kids would really grow up together! The condo faced the pond, so when I came out of my door I would be looking at water, which I loved the most.
I had two huge bedrooms, both with walk-in closets, which I needed. I still hadn’t gotten all of my stuff from Donates yet. I had a lot of clothes, some with the tags still on it. I was also a shoe hound, especially my high heels. I must have over a hundred pairs, so my shoes alone needed a closet. I had a huge living and dining room, with wall to wall black carpet throughout. I put a white Italian leather sectional in the living room, my theme was black and white. I picked out a black marble coffee table with the two matching end tables. The lamps were black and white porcelain Art Van, so you know it wasn't cheap.
I had a doctor’s appointment today. Donate swear he had to come, so I let him. I had no problem letting him participate, hell, he helped me make it. I was in my first trimester so it wasn't really much to see the doctor about. He just drew some more blood, and urine. He prescribed some more prenatal vitamins. Donate was still trying to apologize, but it wasn't working. I could still picture Wanda's mouth around his dick.
“So how you been doing, you been eating right?” he asked while walking me to my car.
“I been good, can't complain. I’m just trying to soak in the fact that in seven months we will be somebody’s parents. I'll be a Momma,”
We arrived to my car. I pulled my keys out of my purse.
“Look baby before you go I just want to tell you how much I love you. These last couple of weeks without you have been hell you know? I’ve just been praying that you will walk back through that door. I'm miserable. I don't want nobody else but you, please let me prove it. Give me another chance?”
I just smiled at him.
“Donate how many times do we have to go through this? Me and you again, never. That's it, let's just concentrate on being the best parents that we can be to our child.
